The first successful applicant for Opportunities for Veterans’ will have his/her franchise fee waived entirely, while all other qualified entrants will receive reduced fees.

Signmaking franchise system Signarama Canada has launched a program for military veterans to help them start new careers as franchisees.

The first successful applicant for Opportunities for Veterans’ will have his/her franchise fee waived entirely, while all other qualified entrants will receive reduced fees. Also, for every veteran who opens a franchise, Signarama will donate $5,000 towards military initiatives.

“The main reason we are doing this, quite honestly, is Canada has been extremely supportive of our cause in Syria,” says Signarama Canada’s master franchisee and CEO, Saleh Al Aroud. “I am originally from Syria and this is a way of showing veterans we care for what they have done and for us to help and give back if we can.”

Applications are due June 1. Entrants must be honourary discharged Canadian military veterans.
