In-home senior care franchise system Home Instead opens in Richmond Hill

In-home senior care franchise system Home Instead has opened a new location to serve the Richmond Hill, Vaughan and the surrounding York Region in Ontario.

The franchise system helps seniors keep comfortable, independent lives in their own homes. Caregivers provide non-medical services, such as companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands and shopping. They can stay with clients anywhere from a couple of hours to all day long.

“I like to think caring for seniors is in my DNA,” says Faryar Foroodi, Home Instead’s Richmond Hill franchisee. “As a child, I volunteered in nursing homes and I am extending that passion now. Our mission is clear, we help seniors stay in their homes for as long as possible and we provide respite care for overworked family members. Family caregivers can’t be around all the time, but we can.”
