Montreal, Quebec, September 8, 2010 – Bachelor of Commerce student at Concordia University John Molson School of Business, Emilie Tardif is the proud recipient of the Pizza Pizza Integrated Marketing Communications scholarship award. The award recognizes the academic excellence of the student earning the highest grade in Senior Lecturer Harold J. Simpkins’ Marketing course.

Tardif was delighted to learn that she won the scholarship earlier this summer. “This award represents the pinnacle of my academic achievements and is an acknowledgement of all the work and effort that I have put into my university studies, and specifically in the Integrated Marketing Communications course. With one year remaining to my undergraduate degree, this provides me with a great deal of confidence as I enter the professional world. To be rewarded in this manner is one of the most fulfilling and exciting experiences I have known,” she said.

Pierre Filion, Director of Sales Development at Pizza Pizza , was also very happy to be part of the process. “Pizza Pizza has always recognized the importance of being part of the community. Supporting the student population is just one way to participate in a worthy and rewarding experience,” he said. “The energy, enthusiasm and ideas shared by all the students were truly appreciated and worthwhile. Pizza Pizza was honored to support this worthwhile program and would like to thank all the students for their participation. We also wish to congratulate Emilie on winning the award,” added Filion.
